Clubs running this term are Gymnastics yrs 3-6 (Mon), Dance yrs 3-6 (Tues), FitKids yrs 1-3 (Fri) Walking Club yrs 3-6 (Fri lunchtime), Cycling Club (Thurs until half-term - re-starts in March) (Other clubs include French and Spanish)

The Area Cross-country competition was run, as usual, at Dukes Meadows. We entered a team entirely from Yr 5 as our Yr6 children were away at Hindleap Warren. Five schools entered with the Cavendish team finished fourth in the boys race and third in the girls to finish in fourth place overall.

The annual Yr4 Indoor Sports festival was held in Brentford. A team of ten boys and girls from Yr 4 competed against 50 schools at the Fountain Leisure Centre and had a hugely enjoyable day.

The Brentford and Chiswick Area Tag Rugby Union competition was held on the 10th with five local schools competing. The team played well in their four games winning 2 and losing 2 to finish in 3rd place in the league.

Our yr6 football team took part in the Area football competition with five other schools. Despite playing well they couldn't get the ball in the net and came fifth in the competition.

Our Yr6 athletes went to the Borough Yr6 Indoor Sports festival and performed extremely well winning or coming 2nd in several events. They narrowly failed to qualify for the semi-finals.

Our Yr6 cross-country runners headed off to Grasshoppers RFC for the annual Borough event. Over 120 boys and girls competed. Our best girl was 6th of 60 and our best boy was 23rd of 67. Overall the girls team was 5th out of 8 and the boys team was 6th out of 9.
