Friends of Cavendish - PsA
Our Parent and Staff Association (PSA) is an active group, committed to promoting inclusion within our community and to raising money for the school to enhance the curriculum and experience of all children. Every parent and carer is automatically part of Friends of Cavendish.
Each class has a representative who sits on the PSA, seeking ideas and voluntary help from class parents and carers. Class reps meet with the school's Leadership Team on a regular basis to discuss new initiatives and update existing projects. Events organised throughout the year are varied and bring much joy to our community e.g. our annual Spooky event in October. Should a class rep hear of concerns amongst the parents or carers they will encourage them to speak to school directly.

Latest news - Extraordinary General Meeting Friday 10th November @ 09.00
The Friends of Cavendish will be holding an EGM (Extraordinary General Meeting) on Friday 10th November at 9am in the school hall.
In this meeting we will be proposing to amend the existing constitution. The constitution is a governing document held by the Charity Commission that sets out the fundamental rules and procedures the committee members must follow when managing the PTA.
Our current constitution has been held since 1989 and we are looking to adopt the more modern Charity Commission pre-approved ParentKind Constitution.
ParentKind is a organisation we subscribe to which provides support, guidance and insurance cover to PTA groups.
If you would like to view the proposed Constitution please follow the link on the School website.
During the EGM we will also be voting in a new committee as this was not possible during the AGM due to the very low numbers and the current quorum not being met.
Please follow the link on the School website to find the presentation from the AGM and job descriptions for the positions on the committee.
If you are interested in joining the Friends of Cavendish committee and have any questions, please email email@example.com.
We have also created an open group on ClassList “Joining the Friends of Cavendish Committee” as a discussion forum to bring together others that may also be interested in forming a new committee
