Recognition of excellence from the Department of Education
Today we have been congratulated for the excellent outcomes for disadvantaged pupils in 2024/25. The letter from the Department for Education (DfE) stated our, "school’s performance places it among the very best nationally, and this is a significant achievement."
As Sir Martyn Oliver, Ofsted's Chief Inspector, said in 2025, "If you get it right for the most disadvantaged and vulnerable, you get it right for everyone."
Our Ofsted inspection of November 2025, graded three areas as Strong Standard which marks out excellent, consistent work that’s making a real difference for children and learners. These areas were: Early Years, Inclusion and Personal Development & Wellbeing.
“The school supports pupils to develop self-confidence and to have high aspirations.”
We are very proud of today's recognition from the DfE and remain committed to providing an excellent education for all our pupils.
