Vision and Values

Our Vision

At Cavendish, our values of belonging, kindness, curiosity, confidence and ambition permeate every aspect of school life. We believe that a sense of belonging is essential to nurturing positive relationships, fostering self-worth and enabling successful learning. Kindness is at the heart of everything we do, creating a safe and supportive environment where everyone feels valued and respected. We encourage curiosity, allowing our children to explore and discover new knowledge and ideas. This, in turn, builds confidence in their abilities and aspirations, and fosters a sense of ambition for their future. At Cavendish, we aim to provide a nurturing and inclusive community where every child can flourish and reach their full potential.

Belonging is fundamental in nurturing positive relationships, self-worth and enabling us to learn.  Belonging also has a profound impact on our wellbeing, allows us to feel secure which enables us to trust, embrace change and challenge; this may be academically, socially or emotionally and can cultivate skills valuable throughout our lives.

We belong at Cavendish, where everyone is kind, so that we can be curious with our learning, helping us to be confident in our knowledge and have ambition for our future!

Our motto captures our ethos:

Cavendish:  Where we belong.
