Welcome to Year 3! On this page you will find information about what we are learning about in class each week and any other information that we need to share with you. If you have any questions please do come and speak to us!
This week in Year 3:
We would like to say a HUGE thank you to all parents for your amazing support this year. It has been an absolute pleasure teaching Year 3. They are an incredible group of children who all complement each other with their many and wondrous skills, talents and interests.
Thank you too for our gifts and cards. It really was incredibly kind and thoughtful.
We'll leave you with a few photos from this final week so far. Thank you again to our pupil who introduced us to their bearded dragon - what a lovely experience to end the year on.
And our trip to Dukes Meadows was so much fun! Thanks for the lollies...they went down VERY well!

PE days:
Indoor: Monday
Outdoor: Friday
Children should come to school wearing their PE uniform. They will stay in their PE uniform for the whole day.

Routines:
- The school day starts promptly in class at 8.55 am. Please use the soft start from 8.45 am to ensure your child is on time.
- Year 3 have a library book-changing slot on a Friday afternoon. Normal reading books can be changed any day.
- The children are able to bring in healthy snacks for break time.
Home learning:
Every Thursday, the children will be set home learning, see below. English and Maths have separate Home Learning books for the work to be completed in. Home learning should be handed in on the following Monday to allow time for it to be checked and returned before new tasks are set.
Remember to bring back reading journals with a comment or signature on Thursday.
Homework has now finished for the summer holidays.
