This week in Year 3:
PE
For PE this half term Year 3 have been so lucky to have specialist Tennis coaches coming in to teach Tennis skills and play some very exciting games!
Computing
In Computing this week we had great fun learning about flip animations. We then got to create our very own paper flip animations!

Routines:
- The school day starts promptly in class at 8.55 am. Please use the soft start from 8.45 am to ensure your child is on time.
- Year 3 have PE on Monday and Friday . PE uniform must be worn to school on these days.
- Year 3 have a library book-changing slot on a Wednesday afternoon. Normal reading books can be changed any day
- The children are able to bring in healthy snacks for break time.
Home learning:
In Key Stage Two we have decided to go paperless. The children will no longer get homework sheets or spelling sheets printed and stuck in their books. This is a way to help protect and save our environment!
The children only need to write the answers in their English and Maths home learning books. They will also need to write out the spelling words.
No sheets need to be printed at home and stuck in.
Every Thursday, the children will be set home learning.
Home learning should be handed in on the following Monday to allow time for it to be checked and returned before new tasks are set.
Every Wednesday children will self-mark homework and we will go over it together as a class.
If children are struggling with homework, please do not hesistate to get in touch and remember we now have Homework club running every Thursday.
